More Details on the Automatic controller and why it sets the precedence. (and costs so bloody much) The Automatic/Manual Controls: While developing this system for my own truck, I decided I wanted something that the wife could drive, without having to remember to flip this switch, at this time, and then when that happens do this, and oh yeah, don't forget to purge 2 miles before you get home, and turn the system off also. So drawing heavily on my Navy electronics training I came up with the controls that will do this all automatically, AND can still do it manually for those who like to control everything in their life. But without adding any more switches. How does it work?  At the heart of it all are two 12vdc timer cards that control the length of time that the purge solenoid will actuate (in auto mode) and how long the engine will run.  It is wired and controlled so that given events can only take place under certain conditions, and can be turned completely off. Probably wondering what actually happens huh? With the switch in auto mode, here is what happens. You start the vehicle on diesel, just like you would any other time. Once the engine reaches a operating temperature, the system will come on on its own. Nothing magic there. So how does it know when to shut down and purge? Well when you turn the key off of course. Again you just turn the truck off like normal. At this point one timer card will keep the engine  running, while the other one will sense that the WVO pump is no longer running AND the key is off and cause a purge solenoid to open allowing the diesel to push the Oil out of the fuel rails for a quicker purge and shutdown. And of course with all this there is a fair amount of wiring that goes into it, and each harness is hand-built. Each wire is cut to exact length, and all terminals are professionally assembled with weather sealed connectors, making for a nearly OEM appearance and simplifying the installation considerably.  Each control module takes roughly 6-8 hours to assemble, after having done it time and time again. And that is pretty much the beans of how this works.
