WEST COAST TRAVELS

Family Summer Vacation to Yellowstone:  Leaving August 21st and returning August 28th.  Traveling with a 275 gallon tote in the bed full of oil, with a 28 ft. Desert Fox in tow.

Portland OR to Southern California and Arizona:  April 10-21st.  Leaving on Tuesday the 10th from Portland Oregon heading towards LA for an install and a couple follow ups. Then off to Escondido and from there to Phoenix for a pair of installs.  If all goes well, we'll make a pit stop in Vegas on the way back home.  With any luck we will also be attending the Diesel Finals in Las Vegas on May 5th and 6th.

Portland OR to Oklahoma City, OK:  Leaving Sunday March 4th with the DFA Mobile Command (Truck and Camp Trailer) heading in a general southeast Direction for about 2000 miles.  We plan to pass through Denver on Monday, hopefully scoring some oil through the Denver Biodiesel Co-Op.  If Anyone wants to donate to the cause, or just check out the Vegistroke, let us know. We plan to be in or around Oklahoma City for Two installs and a warranty repair until about Friday, maybe sooner of all goes well.

Casper, WY to Denver, CO to Oregon:  Driving to Casper, Wyoming around the 20th of January for an install then on to Denver for another install, on another brand new truck.  We would be happy to do another install while in route either to or from for a discounted road install price. Southern California: Trip to Southern California in Early January to deliver a Brand New 2006 Super Duty with a Vegistroke system installed.

Denver, CO:  In Denver Jan. 5-6 for a short time completing a customers 2006 install on his Banks equipped Pre-Runner Super Duty.

Las Angeles Road Trip:  Dec 15-22, 2006, Two more scheduled installs. This time we will be driving to LA for an install on a '95, then back to Martinez to do an Excursion, and home for Christmas. Give us a call if you are interested in checking out the System in person, and are not too far off the beaten path (I-5). Trip complete, and two more happy customers!

Kentucky ROAD TRIP!!

Mission Accomplished June 19-June 30, 2006:

Back from the KY road trip. Jason and James traveled to Richmond, Kentucky to troubleshoot multiple issues with an install on a gorgeous 97 crew cab and had it in tip top shape in a day. And we had a few issues of our own as well. But not with the oil system. Somehow we managed to break the flywheel about 400 miles away  from Kentucky.  Amazingly though it held well enough to get us where we were headed and the Weatherford's were gracious enough to allow us to use their garage after their truck was done to replace my flywheel. It fell out in 2 pieces!!.  All told we covered over 6,000 miles starting in Portland, Oregon to Richmond, Kentucky, back to St Louis and then south to New Orleans where we had the best meal of the trip at Bubba Gump Shrimp company. Then we headed NW through Texas, Roswell, NM, Las Vegas and finally home.  Not sure I will ever get the men's locker room smell out of the truck now.

So how about some numbers? Given the amount of diesel used, I averaged about 350 mpg!!!.  And used nearly 600 gallons of vegetable oil. So at an even $3.00/gallon that amounts to a fuel savings of $1800 in one week, and one road trip
